There's a lot of ways to enjoy getting wet at the new aquatic centre! This new facility uses ceramic tiling throughout and as you wander past the suite of purpose built pools with their crisp blue tiling you may come across a small panel of mosaic tiling in the outside creche.
The mosaic depicts perhaps the most simple and pleasurable way of engaging with water - just dangling your feet in it.
A mixture of hand-cut, glazed ceramic floor and wall tiles were used to create this mosaic. Dimensions: 1640mm x 600mm.
I began the design in February 2017 and the finished work was installed in March 2017.
