This project consists of 8 mosaic panels, each one 500mm x 500mm, installed on the entranceway to the McCormick Centre near Renmark SA.
I worked with community volunteers to design and fabricate this mosaic and, as usual, they were a dedicated bunch. I started the design work in October 2008 and installed the mosaic in January 2009. The weather during installation was very hot, with one day being about 45 degrees celsius! We started on the shady side and followed the shade across the concrete walls to avoid the worst of the heat.
