Upstairs, in the Women and Childrens' Hospital in North Adelaide, is a place called 'The Sacred Space'. It was designed by Matt Martin. The mosaics I created to cover the concrete planters respond to Matt's design.
It is a beautiful space in which to spend some quiet time.
The mosaic is made from hand-cut glazed, ceramic floor tiles. I began the work in January 2013 and completed it in September the same year.
